Last week, Tó Trips traveled to Toledo to represent Portugal at the Conecta Fiction and Entertainment, the Audiovisual Production Fair that brings together professionals from around the globe. Invited by Conecta, Tó Trips performed at the Gala event, presenting some of the themes he has composed for soundtracks. His portfolio includes soundtracks for the series “Sul” and “Matilha” by Edgar Medina, directed by Ivo Ferreira and João Maia respectively, and for the films “Surdina” by Rodrigo Areias, “Operação Outono” by Bruno de Almeida, “Rêves de Jeunesse” by Alain Raoust, among others.
After several kilometers on the road with his solo album “Popular Jaguar,” Tó Trips is preparing a new original album, set to be released in early 2025.
This year, he is already confirmed to perform at the 36th edition of the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic in Catalonia, where he will present his show in a trio format, accompanied by double bass and cello, continuing his tour until the highly anticipated new album is released.
