Pedro da Linha, DJ, producer and songwriter, releases his new single ‘Para Quê’, a track featuring the voice of Lucy Val. This is the first step on a path that will culminate in a new full-length release in 2026. The song, now available, explores themes of sadness and overcoming, blending Lucy Val’s guitar and vocals with Zé Cruz’s charango and wind instruments. It also combines Lucy’s cumbia universe with Pedro da Linha’s more club-oriented side, continuing the collaboration that began with the single ‘Aqui se Faz Aqui se Paga’. With influences from morna and traditional Portuguese music, the single shows that even songs about sadness can carry rhythm and make people dance. This is the first track from Pedro da Linha’s upcoming album, set to be released in the first quarter of 2026. Pedro da Linha is among the confirmed names on the lineup for MIL 2025, taking place at the Beato Innovation District in Lisbon, from October 8 to 11. The artist’s performance will be in a live act format, featuring Zé Cruz and Pedro Ferreira, on October 9 at Casa Capitão — a new cultural space in Lisbon. This will be the perfect opportunity to hear, live and for the first time, some of the tracks that will be part of the artist’s upcoming full-length release. |
