Luta Livre

Luís Varatojo, musician and producer for bands like Peste & Sida, Despe e Siga, A Naifa, and Fandango, launched his first solo project, Luta Livre, in 2021. With two albums released, Técnicas de Combate (2021) and Defesa Pessoal (2023), Luta Livre is a call to citizenship through music, as these times demand direct action and clear messages. Until the end of the year, Luta Livre will be on tour, including celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the Carnation Revolution, performing songs from both albums in an acoustic format—a special show tailored for auditoriums and seated events.
