Fidju Kitxora

Fidju Kitxora is a collective born between Lisbon and Cape Verde, shrouded in mystery and blending rhythms of the African diaspora. Their music is a journey in constant transformation: from the warmth of funaná to the groove of semba, from the syncopations of kuduro and afro-house to unexpected fusions with field recordings, ethereal synthesizers, vocal samples, and powerful beats.

The enigmatic nature of the project adds a captivating layer to their performances, where unpredictability and sonic exploration create an immersive experience. With their debut album Racodja (2024), Fidju Kitxora secured their place in the portuguese music scene and began their international breakthrough, after a year filled with concerts in Portugal and abroad. 

The collective has performed on important national and international stages and festivals such as Tallinn Music Week (Estonia), Tremor (Azores, Portugal), Sinsal (Spain), Mercat de Música Viva de Vic and BAM (Spain), Moods Club (Switzerland), Transmusical de Rennes (France), and Dream Evolution Festival (North Macedonia). In 2026, they return to the international circuit with a performance at Eurosonic, with confirmed performances at festivals such as La Mar de Músicas (Spain), Orza Festival (Hungary), Botanique (Belgium) and NOS Alive (Portugal), alongside more international dates to be announced.

At the same time, they have recently released their new single “Simbrón” and have a new album on the way.
