Arnaldo Antunes

Poet, composer, musician and visual artist, ARNALDO ANTUNES is one of the greatest references of Brazilian Culture. He was one of the “thinking heads” of Titãs, and in his solo career presented new formats and sounds in ten albums already released. He became widely recognized by the Portuguese audience with “Os Tribalistas”, the project with Marisa Monte and Carlinhos Brown,whose self-titled album was considered as the “Best Brazilian Contemporary Pop Album”, nominated for five categories on the Latin Grammys in 2002. There are several artists who have recorded his songs, such as Gilberto Gil, Maria Bethânia, Gal Costa, Lenine, Rita Lee, Paulinho da Viola, Ney Matogrosso, Adriana Calcanhotto, among many others.
