Ana Lua Caiano has been gaining attention across the globe with her unique musical fusion, blending traditional Portuguese music with electronic sounds. Recognized as a “Breakthrough Artist” with her first two EPs, Ana Lua Caiano has toured the world with her debut album “Vou ficar neste quadrado,” released by the German label Glitterbeat. So far, her first full-length album tour has over 70 confirmed dates in Portugal and abroad. Recently, her work has been featured in major international media outlets such as GQ magazine, the French newspaper Le Monde, Songlines, and also in the print edition of The Wire Magazine. Festivals like WOMEX, BIME Bilbao, MIL Lisboa, FIRA B!, MUM, Live Europe, Les Trans Musicales, Roskilde Festival, Les Sud à Arles, La Mar de Músicas, Tromso World Fest, Oslo World Fest, Reeperbahn, and many others, have already hosted her performances. After being nominated earlier this year for the international “Music Moves Europe” awards, Ana Lua Caiano won the category of “Best Song” at the Globos de Ouro, and was also nominated for “Best Performer.”
