A Garota Não

A garota não doesn’t just sing; she intervenes through a sweet reflection on the times we live in. It’s a social and political journey, of someone who fights with heart and gives body, soul, and voice to a truly unique project. In 2022, she released “2 de abril,” considered by both the public and critics as one of the “Best National Albums of the Year.” Last year, she won the Golden Globe for “Best Performer” in the Music category, as well as the award for “Best Popular Work” from the Portuguese Society of Authors. This year, she was awarded the José da Ponte Prize by the Portuguese Society of Authors, as well as the José Afonso Prize in its 35th edition. By the end of the year, A garota não will be creating new songs that will give rise to a highly anticipated new album, the successor to “2 de abril.”
